About Champ AI
Champ AI is building end‑to‑end autonomous support agents that go far beyond chatbots. Our platform plugs into a customer’s help‑desk stack, ingests their knowledge base, and instantly spins up agents that execute complex SOPs, resolve tickets, write knowledge articles, audit responses, and surface insights — all with no code.
We combine large‑language‑model reasoning with RPA‑style browser, API, and database automation, so any manual process (even on legacy, no‑API tools) can run on autopilot.
Trusted by customers and investors who’ve scaled category leaders
- Proven with leading customers: Enterprise giants and breakout startups (Instacart, Shef, Arena Club, Poplin) already run on our agents, unlocking meaningful cost savings while boosting customer satisfaction.
- Fueled by tier-one funds: Redpoint, Defy, and SV Angel, backers of multiple category-defining winners, have invested to accelerate our vision of autonomous customer operations.
- Guided by world-class operators: Angels include Max Mullen (Instacart co-founder), Fidji Simo (CEO, OpenAI Applications), JJ Zhuang (fmr Chief Architect Instacart, VMWare, Acompli) and many seasoned product, engineering, and ops leaders who’ve scaled unicorns before.
What you’ll do as our first engineering hire
- Own the agentic stack – design, build, and ship multi‑agent workflows that read SOPs, call tools, and close the loop with customers. Work on the cutting edge of what can be done with reasoning models.
- Direct interaction with customers — interface with your customers directly and help shape the future vision for the product.
- Ship product end‑to‑end – you’ll touch TypeScript/React front‑ends, Ruby back‑ends, vector DBs, and infra.
- Prototype & iterate in days, not sprints – sit in customer calls, ideate features, and push to prod the same week.
- Set the bar – establish coding conventions, CI/CD, and a blameless, feedback‑driven engineering culture.
You might be a great fit if you…
- Think product‑first and enjoy white‑boarding UX tweaks as much as tuning embeddings.
